Description
Here's another rare one from my brown box. B.W. & The Emeralds - I Need Your Love bw Please Come Back on Rumble Records 1348 (1958). Rumble Records was owned by native american Link Wray of "Rumble" Fame in 1956. The Label Only Lived for a very short time and folded. Doo Wops on this label to my knowledge is only two. This one being the first. The Condition is in G+ shape Some slight tears on the edge of the label. Vinyl quality is G+ with light scuff scratches from removing it from the sleeve. The Dead Wax Reads 1348-1 nms ztsp81050-1b and on the b side reads ztsp810551-1b 1348-2-nms. I Have had this 45 for at least 25 years. I use to live near Washington D.C. where this record was released. All I Know is that it was a local release and not widely distributed and is noted in the Jeff Krieter price guide. It is a great Doo Wop and reminds me of a Jackie and The Starlites record, where the singer starts to cry. In any case I hate to give this one up. Happy Bidding Dr. Of Oldies
