BYFIST - Super Rare 7" single - 1987
Released on the band's own Saba Records as catalog # DL 001 1987 (DL standing for great guitarist Davey Lee) and listed as being from from the forthcoming album "Hour Glass of Time". I obtained this 7" directly from the band along w/a T-shirt and some of their later demos - one of these demos is listed in another of my auctions.
BYFIST are a metal band through and through. Many of the members have been associated with David Wayne in his self-titled group on the "Metal Church" album, which was great. These guys have appeared in Reverend as well. They're a true Texan Power Metal group in the vein of Helstar, SA Slayer, Syrus, etc. and really are great.
The single is in very good condition. The vinyl is shiny and aside from one minor scratch on one side there's nothing to report. It plays fine and sounds great. The sleeve is in good shape. There's some ring-wear due to the record spending about 22 years in the sleeve. It's not wear as much as the four corners are all very flat as compared with the middle where the vinyl is. Overall it's in very good shape and hopefully you can see this from the photos.
