BYRDS WON’T FLY TODAY LP (VARIOUS ARTISTS) (MISTY LANE - MISTY 064) (2002)

·        BANDS: Compilation of various U.S. Folk- Garage-Rock Bands circa 1965/67, featuring bands that were influenced by the Byrds, but doing their own songs in that style. (See picture of back cover for full playlist.)

·        TOTAL OUTPUT: Only one volume in this series.

·        PRESSING: First Italian pressing, (2002).

·        LABEL: Misty Lane (Blue with Black, white and silver lettering) (MISTY 064)  

·        MATRIX RUNOUT NUMBERS (Etched):  A: (MISTY-064 A) B: (MISTY-064 B)

·        CONDITION: FRONT COVER: VG++ (No ring-wear. Top seam has extremely minor wear. Bottom seam has 1.5 inch crack in the center that hasn’t turned into a split.  This was caused from the original mailing where the record was left in the cover. Spine has no wear with no impact to the lettering.  

·        CONDITION: BACK COVER: EX- (Slightly better than front cover.)

·        CONDITION: DUST JACKET SLEEVE: Generic. Comes with original insert with additional details on the Palace Guard and Tiffany System.

·        CONDITION: VINYL: Plays with minimal surface noise on quiet passages and has overall audio grade of EX. (NOTE: This record has only been played twice.)

NOTE: My LP’s are visually graded with the exception of two sound samples from the first songs on each side which can be heard with the links provided below.

 Hi folks, this is Velvetfogg, founder of the U-SPACES music collective which ran from 1997 to 2020 on Yahoogroups.  I try to list records on Sundays, some Auction and some Buy It Now.

GRADING SCALE:

NM/M: Played once or twice. No visible surface or playback wear.

EX: Has been played but has no scratches, minimal to no wear and plays without surface noise.

EX- Plays without surface noise, but might have a few visible minor scratches.

VG++: May have a few surface scratches or a little wear, but plays nicely with only minimal surface noise and clicks.

VG+: "Typical used record".  A little wear, a few minor (light) scratches, but plays well. Surface noise may be more present during soft passages. No Skips

VG: More wear and significant surface noise. Deeper scratches. May have a skip.

G: Significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. (Beat up record!) May have skips.

(All LP’s are visually-graded with sound samples being provided for the first song on each side.)

LP’s ship via USPS Priority Mail Cubic (domestic) or USPS First Class International. Professional cardboard 45 mailers will be used with proper bubble packing.

Priority Shipping is available for higher priced international items upon request and includes insurance but is expensive. (For international orders, please research these costs in your country prior to bidding.
