Original Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig 78 rpm record of "'Babe' and 'Lou' (The Home Run Twins), parts 1 and 2." This is on the Perfect label #12382 and it is also pressed on brown wax!! The record is in beautifully clean Very Good condition with full gloss. No chips or cracks. Labels show only a couple very minor 'spindle trails', but no nicks or gouges and no writing or stickers on either. This rare record was pressed around 1927 and features two full sides of Ruth and Gehrig dialoguing!! This is one of the few items of its kind that features both Yankees' greats together at the height of their careers. It would be very difficult to find a much nicer example of this scarce baseball collectible!! Gradings are visual only. I am no expert at grading. There are a few imperfections on both sides, but appears to have been in the record material when pressed. This was not caused froma needle scratching damage. Nothing is heard when palyed over these areas. The sound is VERY crisp and clear with little ticking that is normal. It appears that this record was not played much at all. It is VERY high gloss on both sides. It is VERY RARE to find a copy of this record. Also, has the original store bough sleeve that is in great condition. Don't let this one get by you. Babe Ruth material will only go up in value in years to come.
