Description

This is the rare original 1994 RTI test pressing for Baby Face Willette “Stop and Listen” (Blue Note BLP 4084) that was issued on the Connoisseur Series B1-28998. The test pressing was rejected due to the mastering engineer’s mistake in using the digital CD master to cut the LP lacquer: the original LP had seven tracks, but the CD – and this rejected test pressing – has eight tracks, including the unissued (on LP) “They Can’t Take That from Me”. That eighth track is unique to this rejected LP test pressing. The playing surface is mint, with a high luster; perhaps played once. RTI white cover is clean throughout.
