Bach Double Concerto Milstein Moroni Original Aust Columbia SAXO 2579
Nathan Milstein and Erica Moroni with Chamber Orchestra perform Bach’s “Double Concerto in D Minor” and “Sonata in C Major” BMV 1037, and Vivaldi’s “Concerto in D Minor Op. 3 No. 11”. An original Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 2579), the labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border, and black stereophonic flash. The side one label has a “sample record” sticker. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover (English front/Australian back) has a small bend at the bottom left-hand corner and other minor wear only.
