Description
After deciding to scrap their plans to start a chain of breast milk ice cream parlors, illusive producer/lurker Vrse Murphy and prodigious underground SFC rapper/painter Z-Man decided to make rap records together. This project was created nearly 20 years ago and has now finally made it across the finish line. Those in the know and down with the greater gurp have had or heard the tapes, cds, cutty mp3s and versions of many of these songs before. After getting the last eight songs mixed and remastered (or just mastered I guess) we are excited to release a six song starter. With cuts by the unstoppable forces that are DJ Quest and DJ Marz adding aggression to Vrse's expert sampling and Z's effortless flow, this album is a time capsule to life in the city when rent was affordable, Slim's had rap shows, and house parties could become legendary at the drop of a needle.
