Description

Bad Brains - Quickness US First Pressing VG++ And 35" X 25" Poster Hardcore Punk . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. This is the US version. There are a handful of minor differences between the US and European versions of the 1st pressing of this record.  The most obvious way to tell them apart is by the different bar codes on the back cover, and also by the white Caroline logo which the US version has on the discs red labels. The European record has black Caroline logos, again on red labels.

The record is in great shape for a hardcore record from 1989. There are a handful of scratches and smudges on either side but they appear to be very light. Also they are fewer in number than a lot of used records that I have. I bet this record still sounds great and by eyeball I would have to give it grade of VG++.
The insert has a 4 inch long slit at the bottom of the insert where the record can poke out a little bit. The right side also has a slit but its smaller and the record doesn't poke through as much. There is also a very small crease, less than a half inch long, on the corner of ONE side of the insert. (see pictures) It's fairly insignificant. In spite of those 2 dings the insert looks almost like new, otherwise. There are no tears, stains, or creases other than the one I described, and the insert shows only vague, very faint, signs of handling. I would give it a VG grade despite the slit just because it's otherwise so smooth and spotless.
The cover is in better than great shape. There is some very minor ring wear, just barely visible, at the top center of the front cover. Apart from that, there is no ring wear visible on front or back. There is one significant light vein at the top left of the cover. It's over 3 inches long but it is faint and does not stand out unless you look at the cover from a certain angle. The rest of the veins are at the left edge. They are small and can be counted on one hand. Fairly insignificant. The corners of the cover are gorgeous with only the lightest wear apparent. The spine edge, likewise, has no dings and all the title text is still intact. There are vague signs of handling on the spine but that surface is not ripped or worn away at all. The top and bottom edges are, likewise, in great shape, with very little sign of wear. Overall this thing is in great condition. I would grade this cover VG+++, since I don't really use EX.
This is a very solid copy of this album.
The 35 inch by 25 inch promo poster is the weak link here, as far general condition of merchandise. It has a few rips that have been repaired with tape near the bottom. small bits of the corners appear to be ripped off and a few bits at the bottom are chewed away. There are also a few creases here and there but overall the bulk of it's expanse is smooth and crease-less. Keep in mind when bidding that I will have to fold it to around the size of an LP to ship it with the record. In fact, it's best to just think of the poster as a bonus and just bid according to what this album means to you.
