The record looks a little bit scuffed up with a number of Light scratches and smudges on both sides. A few are long but almost all look to be Light or Very Light. There are, however, 3 or 4 short ones that look like they could potentially be slightly more significant. Still not likely anything bad enough to cause a skip or disturb the listening too much, but there may be a bit of surface noise and will likely be a few pops and clicks here and there, more apparent during the quiet sections and inbetween songs. This record may actually sound just fine, though. I can't say for sure without playing it, so I will give it a low grade just to be safe. G+
The insert has seam splits on all 3 closed sides, as is fairly common with this type of insert. 2 of those sides have seam splits that are 7 to 8 inches long, while the 3rd split is only 2 inches or so. There is also some Light overall wear from handling etc, and a couple small nicks and wrinkles in the paper. G+
The cover is overall in very good shape but does have a few minor dings. There is Very Light ring wear on front and back but it is nearly invisible, particularly on the back. The top left corner has a small bend (about an inch and a half in length) that has created a vein on the front and the back. (see close up picture of that corner.) The bottom right corner has a much fainter, but longer, vein. It is about 4 inches in length and appears on front and back, but as I said, it is fairly faint. The left and top edges have the usual handful of Light and faint veins, that are all under an inch in length, and most are under a half inch. There is one other random faint vein on the cover that is around 2 inches in length. The 4 corner tips have pretty Light wear, just at the very tips. The spine edge has Light wear with slightly more near the ends, but all title text is intact. The shelf edge has only Very Light wear. Top edge has Light wear. VG
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
Classic first pressing of this record but since the disc is a bit scuffed looking I will start the bidding a bit low.
