Description

This is the 1972 German issue of Straight Up by Badfinger.  Badfinger are an amazingly underrated band, with a tragic ending and a cautionary tale of the exploitative effects of the music industry.  They were one of the first artist signed to The Beatles Apple Corp and constantly suffered comparisons to The Beatles, despite their obvious talents - especially the songwriting of Pete Hamm which is on full display here.
The Song Baby Blue is the closing scene on Breaking Bad.
This German pressing really sounds amazing and is right up there with any pressing I've had of this album (US, UK, etc.). The vinyl has a great clarity and it is quite balanced.
