BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO - "io sono nato libero" VINYL LP Dischi Ricordi SpA - SMRL-6123 (1973 Italia)
This is from my personal collection. Purchased new in 1973. Original owner, low mileage. Lovingly played for 15 something years, on the shelf for the past 20 years or so. Time to find it a new home!
Cover is NM (multi-gate fold shaped cover) LP is VVG - a few loving blemishes, but I just put it on the TT for the last time and it played wonderfully! I will miss you!
From the ProgArchives website (www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=36#discography):
"One of the most important progressive rock bands to come from Italy, BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO, along with LE ORME and PFM are regarded as the big three of the RPI genre.... Their eponymous first album was a remarkably mature piece of inventive symphonic progressive rock with classical influences, featuring excellent musicianship and the emotionally charged vocal delivery of Di Giacomo. This was quickly followed up by the equally highly regarded "Darwin" and "Io Sono Nato Libero", forming a trio of albums that are essential listening for anyone with even the most casual interest in the RPI genre."
Sorry, but I guess I didn't really give a cost for the shipping to ITALY. It looks like it would be the same as the shipping cost to Japan (with the same explanation as what I gave in that answer) of $46. But please message me first if you win this item and we'll lock down the shipping cost(s) prior to you sending payment (depending on amount of insurance needed and level of shipping desired). Thanks!
On Mar-11-11 at 01:37:13 PST, seller added the following information: In response to maneki-ganesh question about matrix number and shipping costs,Ahhh, Matrix #....
There's two sequences of characters,
1) one set seems to be a date: 13/11/73
2) the second set reads: S 6123 2
As to the shipping, I'm using the on-line US Postal Service shipping calculator.
If there's a cheaper method you'd like to use, and you wave insurance and tracking
in writing, I'd be happy to ship whichever way you'd prefer - at your risk.
Thanks for asking!
