Description
This is a very rare original first pressing copy of the vinyl compilation LP released in 2000 by various Wall of Sound label artists entitled "We Love You...So Love Us" with distinctive and iconic artwork from Banksy.
The artwork by Banksy features his most iconic stencil image which often goes under the name 'Flower Thrower'. He would later famously spray this image in Jerusalem a few years after this LP was released.
The all important Front and Back covers of the outer sleeve are a very strong N/Mint, that is there is just the very slightest trace of rim visible, but you really have to look for it to find it, Although the image is widely available as it has been copied on many various artifacts, rest assured you are buying the original version fully licensed by the artist himself for use exclusively by the Wall of Sound label and it looks superb laid over a canary yellow and white background.
A short while after this Banksy also provided a one off handmade stencil spray for the promo debut LP by Royksopp ( please see my other auctions for that seperate rare item).
The record is housed in the original glossy inner sleeve which has all the details of the 18 tracks.
Again this would be a strong near Mint grading.
I would grade the record itself as Excellent (it has a feint curve on the B side on the intro groove and a feint burr across the middle tracks) . I have not played it but close examination suggests that it has received a play as there is a telltale spindle mark visible under strong light.
This very sought after Compilation LP comes with full provenance for peace of mind and insurance purposes.
