For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a flipback picture sleeve, by Barbara Kay. Entitled Chips With Everything, the B-side is A Lot About Love. This the scarce first pressing of the stock copy (not the promo) which has a unique A-side label to match the colours of the picture sleeve with a standard pink Pye label on the B-side (see pics). On the Pye label, the catalogue number is 7N.15997 and the date of issue is 1965.
Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good Minus condition.
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and just a few light spindle marks.
The flipback picture cover is only in Good Plus condition with a few very light marks, some creasing, a small split in the middle of the left edge and a tiny tear on the back at the opening edge (see pics).
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
