Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched test pressing of “Barbara Lea” on Prestige 7065. The flat-rim playing surfaces have a few marks on both sides, some of which tic lightly and briefly. The record was cleaned and played and the following is the result:, Side 1: 2 tics at intro to tracks 1 and 2, a few light tics on track 5; Side 2: a few light tics on tracks 1, 2, and 5. The tics in no way interfered with the music, which was always crisp, clear, and undistorted. The laminated West 50th St. cover is clean throughout; ¼” wear on bottom seam, at the opening; slight ¼” wear at the bottom of the spine; sticker on back inked in red “TEST”.
