Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RECORD HAS BEEN VACUUM CLEANED ON BOTH SIDES ON MY PROJECT PRO CLEANING MACHINE THANK YOU .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH INCLUDING BOTH SIDES FOR ALL RECORDS , THANK YOU .
ALL RECORDS ARE TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL . I LIKE TO USE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and unplayed . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as hardly played , excellent shine and just a handful of the very very lightest and small surface marks only ( in other words , looks like new ) . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more between very good and excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also , so please do bid with confidence , thank you .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE SENT VIA RM 1ST CLASS STD POST AND I ALWAYS OBTAIN PROPER PROOF OF POSTAGE , BUT PLEASE READ THE FULL POSTAGE DETAILS BELOW THANK YOU .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY ITEMS WHICH END OR HAVE PAYMENT CLEARED ON A THURSDAY PM WILL BE POSTED ON THE NEXT MONDAY AS I DO NOT POST ON FRIDAYS OR SATURDAYS THANK YOU .
Barbarella Soundtrack LP Orig Bob Crewe UK Stateside Stereo 1968 Great Overall Sound . On UK Stateside SSL 10260 Stereo .
COVER: Laminated ( front only ) cover generally in a very strong near excellent condition .
FRONT: The cover remains lovely and shiny and there are just a few very light usual general surface marks / handling / age related marks in odd places . There is mainly just some extremely light light main edge rub wear in a few places and some usual fray/dent wear on the corners , though this is extremely light and small as you can see . There is just one small bit of roughness near the centre of the top edge , but again this is still very light . There is some normal useage wear on the side opening edges , but again this is very very light indeed . There are the usual ring wear marks present , but these again are very light only . There are just a few ( 3 or 4 ) extremely light and very small usual surface crease crack lines in places round the edges and just a bit of very light laminate line marks near the centre of the top edge . The pinched ended spine is excellent  and it retains it's shape and is not flattened etc . There is hardly any dent wear at all and no crack lines .  All spine text is fully legible and bold and bright .
REAR: The rear is again near excellent . There are just a few extremely light bits of age related / handling marks and all flipbacks are excellent , again with just 3 or 4 usual but very light indeed laminate crease lines . It still amazingly retains it's overall whiteness and there is no writing etc , again i think all can be seen in the photos using the zoom facility . This really is an overall top quality cover , i would say that you would be hard pushed to find a better overall example ! .
INNER SLEEVE: EMI Emitex poly lined inner sleeve generally in good / very good overall condition . There are a few surface creases in places , mainly on and near the corners and there are the usual ringwear marks . There are just a few extremely light and small general surface marks in places . There is some normal but very light useage wear on the top opening edges . I am unsure if this is the original inner sleeve . I will taking the record out of this sleeve and will be placing it in a very good quality plain white paper inner sleeve to protect the poly lined one whilst in transit .
RECORD: The overall visual grade under bright light is very good condition with mostly just some very light surface hairline marks on both sides . In normal light this would have been easily much closer to near excellent , but there are 3 small surface spot marks of which i could not feel , in odd places on side two and a couple of patches of manufacturing marbling / greying also on side two , so i am going to say very good , this really is overall far far better , it is really just for the reasons stated above , though i must also stress there are no nasty large deep gouges / scratches etc at all . I did hear a couple of very light indeed ticks on the one just after the run in , but to be honest , i am not 100% sure they were ticks and could be just part of the audio , it was very hard to tell indeed it was that light . The marbling is just a slight cosmetic manufacturing defect within the actual vinyl but doesn't affect the play or sound etc . As i say none of this affected the play or sound quality . It plays crisp and clear throughout with just some very occasional very light mostly background noise and very very occasional very very light tick ( 4 or 5 only ) in places on some of the quieter parts , any noises tend to be in just quick short sharp bursts and in odd places only ,  are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . There are some usual and sometimes louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and track changeovers , though there are hardly any proper silent changeovers on this one as all the tracks tend to merge into one another . There was a little " sch " noise just before the run off on side two , but this was after the last track had ended and was going onto the run off . This record really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still truely awesome . There are no jumps etc and it still retains a nice shine . Both labels are writing free , nice and clean , with just some usual but quite light spindle marks . I really can't stress how good overall this one sounds . All in all a very nice overall example of this now highly collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . I think this one is listed in the collectors guide at £125 ! . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref post and packing and item gradings explained thank you .
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
