Description

One of a handful of classical rarities we have just had in, see our store page for more, very good below cost deals on multiple purchase postage. I also am listing a few other highest regarded Bruckner lps, that modest composer of such sublime symphonies.

Fully Near Mint Digital Recording double lp in gatefold.

Barber & Shostakovich Cello concerti form Raphael Wallfisch & the ECO. These two composers knew each other, and I am not alone I suspect in thinking these are the two great postwar Cello Concertos. A superb soloist here and a fine recording. German Direct Metal Master from 1983. 1st German Pressing for the Chandos label. 

These 1st pressings date from the album release in 1986, There are no splits, creases, pen or dirt to the sleeve, and the labels are also clean (with hardly any spindle marks), the records are flat. The playgrade is Near Mint using a high quality moving coil cartridge through a high end stereo system. A great and thrilling account of this dramatic works, a thrilling prospect, the premiere of this completed version with the sketches.

When we post this to you, it will be housed in a hard card custom made new box.
