Barbershop Enthusiasts You are bidding on a mint-condition recording of
THE HARRINGTON BROTHERS
"School Days"

(These are liner notes written by Allen Hatton, of the Bluegrass Student Union, taken directly from the album)

Introducing the youngest living members of the species Barbershop Quartet, The Harrington Brothers.  Affectionately referred to as "The Squirts" by the Louisville Chorus, they have already tallied many firsts to their credit.  Besides being the Society's youngest registered quartet, they are the youngest district champions ever!  How young are they?  Jeff is 17, Mike is 16, David is 13 and Dougie...well he is young.  Although they have only a little over a year of barbershop experience, these youngsters have absorbed the art.  With excellent singing and an incredible amount of stage savvy, they have become one of the nation's most sought after show quartets.  This recording captures the enthusiasm projected by these effervescent adolescents.  It is certain to become a collector's item.  Allen Hatton

Of course, David and Doug became the lead and bari of Second Edition and won their gold medals.  Doug now lives in Sweden and is a well-known barbershop coach.  David is a coach and prolific arranger and lives in Columbus, OH.  Jeff and Mike are currently not active in the music scene.  The foursome sang together professionally for several years before retiring. This is your chance to see and hear what the buzz was about over 25 years ago when this foursome of fine young men took the Barbershop Society by storm.  Bid today.

This rare album is in mint condition with both outer jacket film and inner record sleeve intact.  The vinyl disk has no marks (not even fingerprints).
