(HMV NZ HR235) (RELEASED 1965)

 

Debut release for Wellington group, Bari & The Breakaways featuring one of the very first recorded covers of The Who’s debut single. Cracking jaunty beat-garage that cooks, the B side (which borrows from the Kinks version on their first album), really motors! Solidly produced record and mastered loudly, it’s first class!

 

All in all an outstanding double-sider!
