Description

Barney Kessel "Barney Kessel: The Poll Winners Volume 5" 1957 Contemporary Records C 3535 mono.  WOW!  This is a really great record.  Kessel shows off why he wins in the guitar category that year and also many others, accompanied by greats Shelly Manne and Ray Brown on drums and bass.  Sleeve is in exceptional shape, with only the slightest scuff on the front (see photos) and tiny bits of damage on the top and bottom edges, still an Excellent minus (EX-) sleeve.  Vinyl is just as good.  Visually extremely nice, with only some minor scratches to be found under strong light, playing back with beautiful clarity and presence, only the lightest crackle here and there, an occasional click, that mostly stays completely under the very cool music, I'll say overall an Excellent minus (EX-) piece of vinyl.  You want this copy.  Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system.  I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
