Description
This RCA Orthophonic recording (ECS-9) of Bartok Concerto For Orchestra is in nice condition. This tape features the Chicago Symphony conducted by Fritz Reiner. This late 1950's tape is marked "For in line Heads" so it's recorded in 2 track format. I played this tape on my 4 track Akai and it sounds great.
The tape is in nice condition the original leader is broken off and could be re-attached if desired . The box is very nice shape the corners are not split, the box graphics show some wear . The liner notes are crisp and clear. The original price tag on the box is $14.95. That was a ton of dough when this tape was new.
This is very cool old tape. A must have for the reel to reel collector.
