Description

Bela Bartok - Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion - Dial 1 RED VINYL Original 50s LP
side one 1      First movement: Assai Lento; Allegro Molto side two 1    Second movement: Lento Ma Non Troppo  2    Third movement: Allegro Non Troppo
VG+ / VG+ (I don't use NM- or any grade of that sort on a LP that is over 50 years old).
The cover has no splits, no ring, and no writing, only very faint aging, some fading on lower corner.  Amazing to see one with no splits at all, nor ring wear!
The vinyl has no scratches, or signs of heavy play at all.  A few very faint hair lines from paper sleeve.  This is a stunning example of a very rare record, Dial's very first issue, and the first "Red Vinyl" issue at that,  Do not pass on this beauty if you collect originals of this genre, they don't come around anymore.  I've been watching for a red vinyl issue for over a year on ebay, and not seen one, all were the standard black, nor can I find any outside of ebay.
I will have another picture coming soon of back cover which shows a tiny record store sticker at top The Disc Shop, Washington, DC.
