This is the Juilliard String Quartet’s recording of the complete “Bartok String Quartets”. A Columbia recording, this edition is from Audiophile Label, Speakers Corner (D3S 717). This copy is a Test Pressing. 12 copies of these were made by the German Pallas pressing plant and sent to interested parties to make sure that all is in order (it was). The record comes with white label in a die cut black outer and with album notes and information on a separate sheet. The records are of immaculate appearance and play and sound superb – as is to be expected from this label.
