Basher, Chalky, Pongo and me - Mike Hart and Comrades (1972) Dandelion Records - Vinyl LP
The vinyl is in excellent condition with no visible surface marks or scratches. The sleeve shows some signs of its age - most obviously, the spine is very slightly damaged (but completely intact), there is some ringing on the front and back and a touch of corner crumpling on the front right lower side of the cover. Most probably a first pressing - the LP was certainly not a big seller and it's hard to imagine there having been more than one pressing. One owner only. I don't usually say 'rare' in my listings but no Dandelion LPs sold in any quantity. Only a handful of copies of this LP have ever shown up on eBay.
There are some real stand-out, that is to say excellent, tracks on this record - 'Nell's Song' and the title track are particularly affecting. Late of 'The Liverpool Scene', Hart plus some mates and 'half of Edinburgh' and Viv Stanshall leave a one-off testimony to Basher, Chalky and Pongo. RIP.
I have sold many LPs on eBay. I package them very carefully, charging P&P at cost. I would never knowingly mislead with my descriptions but should any problem arise, please tell me and I am sure that we will be able to resolve it. I will offer a full refund should any buyer be really unhappy – but this has not happened to date and my feedback is excellent.
