Tracks A1 to B3 live in studio 1979, London, taken from the CD of the book "Beneath The Mask" 1997.Track B3 is listed as "Sows", Track B4 appendix is listed as "rejected mark mix" on artwork. If you are a Bauhaus fan, the book and accompanying CD is the holy grail. The oversized hardback's pages are all black with several full page illustrations of hand-bills and flyers for the bands past shows as well as band photos and excerpts from reviews. There is also a full illustrated discography.
As for the included CD, it's awesome its actually their first ever live "in the studio" recording. So it came off a soundboard. The quality is excellent. It's raw and unpolished and they sound like a garage band, the CD is only available with the book. The reason the price is so steep for the book/CD is because it was only printed once. Even the author is curious, he's just emailed me........dark entries indeed....
