Description

So this is the most heartbreaking vinyl I own and it's been like this since day one. I saw my favorite band Bayside live at Headliners in Columbia, SC back in 2008 and picked this up right before the show started and got a Anthony Raneri, Jack O'Shea, and Nick Ghanbarian to sign the vinyl record sticker itself. I couldn't find Chris at the time, so I figured I'd wait until after the show to get it signed. Well once bayside started, I was front row and had this in a bag on my back. That was the last time I ever bought vinyl at the start of a show.


Well after they started their set, this girl behind me was pissed b/c she wanted my spot on the front row and told me to move b/c I was in her spot, that was her spot before she and her boyfriend left to get drinks (before I even migrated up there). Bayside was my favorite band, I maybe had been to a couple of shows prior, and I had not seen them before, so I was not moving. She started punching and scratching me and poured her drink on me. Then her boyfriend ripped my bag off my back and punched me. The crowd was so packed that I wasn't able to find what happened to my bag.


After the show, the crowd cleared and this was on the floor... it had been stomped on for the entire 2008 Bayside show. I was devastated. I didn't even wait around to get Chris to sign the record, I just left. It still pisses me off and I really hate looking at this thing sitting on my shelf, thinking of what could have been.


Now I guess a tiny bright spot.... I marked the record as fair. I did put it on my turntable way back when and played a good portion of it without any skipping. There was noticeable popping. I stopped playing it since I had just put a new needle on and didn't want to damage my needle, just in case. I guess it'd be moreso a display piece... heck, take it and get Chris to sign it so all 4 will be on here.


This was the 1st press clear variant from 2007, limited to 400 pressings in total.
