Description
Rainy Day Records USA (established 1981)
ALWAYS COMBINES SHIPPING TO SAVE YOU MONEY AND WE ALWAYS SHIP WITH TRACKING. YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!
From Capitol Records (T-1998), this is LITTLE DEUCE COUPE
by THE BEACH BOYS, an original (first) US mono pressing from
1963. Jacket is about NEAR MINT; LP appears about VG+ but plays
with no distortion, no startling pops or clicks and no skips, a solid NEAR
MINT playback. A 1932 Ford Coupe appears on the front cover. It is
referred to as a "Deuce Coupe" because of the year. The "pink slip"
in the lyrics is the car's title, pink being the color California used in 1963.
The actual hot rod used on the jacket belonged to Clarence Catallo. It was
his customized three-window 1932 Ford Coupe called by the hot rod crowd
"the lil' deuce coupe".
Our highest, most passionate recommendation.
Wherever possible we house our vinyl in Mobile Fidelity Sound
Lab inner sleeves for the ultimate in protection; we use 6-mil
outer sleeves or polyester both being the finest protection
available for LP jackets.
These we offer FREE to all our customers!

When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you are not
helping a CEO buy a third vacation home, a second yacht
or a four hundred million dollar golden parachute. Instead,
you’re helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get
his team jersey, a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay
a mortgage, or a student pay for college. Our customers
are our shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make
happy. Thank you for supporting small businesses.
Thoughts for today:
That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most
important of all the lessons of history.
--- Aldous Huxley (1895-1963)
As our eyes grow accustomed to sight they arm themselves against wonder.
--- Leonard Cohen (1934-2016)
