This auction is for Beach Boys - Pet Sounds - Vintage LP Record 1966 Capitol Records T 2458 Mono Since the master tapes were cut in mono this is the one to get, as the stereo or duophonic releases were only simulated. The cover is VG, has a hole punch upper right, number written in margin at top, a sticker with name on it back upper left, and a 2" seam split on spine. Inner sleeve appears to be original and is in pretty nice shape with a 3" seam split on the bottom only, and a hole punched upper corner. Vinyl grade side 1: visual grade - G/VG with light to moderate scratches, glossy vinyl. play grade - G/VG plays thru with a moderate amount of background noise to include pops & ticks, more noticeable during quieter passages and between tracks, no jumps. Vinyl grade side 2: visual grade - VG/VG+ with light scratches, glossy vinyl. play grade - plays thru with less background noise, more noticeable during quieter passages and between tracks, has 2 jumps track 5 that almost blend in with the percussion. Ships in a sturdy record mailer with a cardboard insert for protection
