Description

This is an amazing relic from the Beach Boys Legendary Smile Period!! This is an ORIGINAL 1967 USA Picture Sleeve for Heroes & Villians!! No need to go into the Smile story but Capitol Records jumped the gun and pressed up Picture Sleeves for this Classic. However a decision was made to have this 45 be the first release on the Beach Boys own Brother Records label(which was issued with a much different Picture Sleeve). Instead of destroying the already pressed Capitol Sleeves they were shi[pped and used used by different countries!! Catalog Numbers differed and many of these sleeves had the Capitol Catalog number crossed out with Black Marker...Not This one!! There are no correct Records Pressed that belong to this PS!! Capitol of Canada did release this 45 on the Swirl Label like the USA would have. This is among the RAREST of the Beach Boys USA Sleeves and what a History. This one is in a nice VERY GOOD shape!! A real Collector item to be sure!! Thanks and Good Luck.
