Description
In this auction is a RARE BEACH BOYS PROMOTIONAL RECORD. As you may know, PROMO RECORDS were only released by record companies to the radio stations and/or DJs for airplay or juke box play and were not made available to the general public.
Here are the details:
· “SURFER GIRL” by The Beach Boys
· This is a PROMOTIONAL 7-Inch Extended Play Compact 33 Record.
· This is CAPITOL RECORDS SXA – 1981.
· It was released in 1968.
· This 7-inch PROMOTIONAL RECORD was released by Capitol Records for radio airplay and juke box play only to promote the Beach Boy’s LP “Surfer Girl”. So, it was never made available to the general public for purchase.
· This Compact 33, also referred to as an LLP (Little Long Play) has 3 songs on each side including “Surfer Girl” and “In My Room”. Please refer to images of the labels for the other 4 tracks on the record.
· The LABELS are NICE & CLEAN with VERY MINIMAL WEAR as you can see in the images.
· The VINYL is in STRONG VG CONDITION. There are some scuffs and hairlines on both sides.
· There is no picture cover with this record.
