Description
This is the 2016 Analogue Productions edition of Surf's Up by the Beach Boys, mastered by Kevin Gray. It's a hybrid stereo SACD, meaning it can be played as a CD on a CD player or as an SACD on an SACD player. Officially, it's 2-channel only with no surround layer, although some people have reported that there is audio information in the rear channels. I don't have a surround system so I can't say if this is so.
I bought this at full price from a US retailer and had to pay heavy import costs (£11.62, on top of shipping costs) so it was an expensive purchase. I have opened the SACD and played it once, handling it only while wearing white cotton gloves to keep it absolutely pristine. The original shrinkwrap is gone but I have placed the item in a generic plastic sleeve. As you can see, I also salvaged the hype sticker from the original shrinkwrap and placed it on the new sleeve.
The item is in perfect condition with no defects or blemishes and no cut-outs of any kind. It will be very carefully packed in a strong cardboard box. Please note, postage is FREE for UK buyers.
