"The Fantastic Shakers - Myrtle Beach Days" opens the door to rooms of here-to-fore unknown Shakers' history for the older fans as well as the new. Fessa' Hook presents the first 35 years of the Fantastic Shakers, as well as the previous 15 years of their leader, Bo Schronce, including pictures of his first band at 14. It's an all-color book with rare pics and history on every page, including the lost album of the 60s by Bo and the Fugitives, an interview with the 'first' Shakers, with whom Bo played and inspired him to adopt and adapt their name after he joined Blacksmith. In the usual Hook fashion there are loads of photos of early bands from which Bo and the many Fantastic Shakers earned their chops with.
Also included, pics of every 45, LP, and CD by the fellas (oh, and a pic of the Fantastic Shakers lineup which included a girl member!)
An especially valuable collection of memorabilia now that the Fantastic Shakers have disbanded -- tho many can now be found in other bands.
