Description

Get On Down presents 'Beat Box:  A Drum Machine Obsession'  2x7" flexi disc limited edition EP package released for Record Store Day RSD, 2013(?).  Brand new condition, unplayed, and still in its original plastic wrap.  Includes a 20-page booklet and detailed photos and drawings, original advertising, technical specs going deep into the famous Roland TR-909 drum machine's history while celebrating its role in hip hop and house music.  The flexi discs feature the sounds of the TR-909 and are narrated by legendary Philly rapper Schoolly D, with cuts by DJ 7L doing instrumental remakes of Schoolly D's hits 'P.S.K.' and 'Gucci Time'.  From the then-forthcoming book, 'Beat Box:  A Drum Machine Obsession'.  Ships in standard record mailer to continental USA only.  Please check our other auctions for more rare vinyl and other cool collectibles!
