Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in early 1970 ) of their 2set of early best double album, comin' with complete appendices. These 4LPs set comes with very rare promotional outer box to house both double albums. It's also attached with Japanese insert. This promo box rarely appears in the market in any condition.

// Each album comes with above appendices ( upper column ). One of booklets for "1962-66" is 12 page, showing "English & Japanese lyrics", while another is 8 page, titled as "Beatles Discography 1962-1966". The discography introduces their early works during the period released in my country, with colorful photos of Japanese LPs & Japanese description.

// And the booklet "1967-70" is 20 page, while another is 8 page.

The price on obi & cover is JPY3500. It's getting harder to find this item in complete shape even in my country. Scarce item from far east to serious collector.

Condition: G/VG ( Promo Box-Cover / Insert )

PROMO-BOX:  The box-cover is worn at edges of front-lid and lower layer. Each corner of front-box is split ( torn ...See photo ). It's stained with minor spots inside box, and in the middle of back. It's partly creased in right bottom corner of front.

INSERT: Insert is creased on its surface of each page.

Condition ( Red: 1962-66 ): VG+/EX-/EX- (Cover/Disc1/2)

COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners, top ( lightly ), bottom ( lightly ), spine & right-edge. There're parial smudge on the side-rims inside gate-fold, while it's clean on front & back. Otherwise no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC1/2: Both discs are excellent in condition, keeping glossy. Each disc has some slight scuffs ( including a few slight hairlines ) on each side. There're several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise none of any scratch, which is to be rated as "EX-" each.

OBI: VG, being waving on the left-rim of front, with its right top & bottom-corners torn short. Supply-tag is attached to the top of back. There're a few spots in upper portions of back, with writing of date on the "supply-tag".

BOOKLETS: G/G+ each. The red booklet is creased on its surface of each page with spots in places. "Discography" has brown stains on the surface of front & back, while it's clean inside pages.

INNER-BAGS: G/G+ each, being creased on its surface with ring-wear. One of two is split short in the middle of bottom-edge.

POSTER: Poster is still unused without pin-hole at corners. It has light brown stains in places on the surface of each side ( mainly on the back ). There's a short tear in the right-rim of front.

Condition ( Blue: 1967-70 ): VG/EX-/VG (Cover/Disc1/2)

COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners, top, bottom, spine & right-edge. It's lightly stained on the surface inside gate-fold. There's slight ring-wear in upper & lower portions of back. Otherwise no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC1: Disc1 is execllent in condition, keeping glossy. It has some slight scuffs on each side. There're several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise none of any scratch, which is to be rated as "EX-".

DISC2: Disc2 is good in condition. It has slight scuffs and hairlines in part on each side. There're a few spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise none of any scratch, which is to be rated as "VG". All of flaws are so slight that it plays fine on each track.

OBI: G, being creased on its surface of front & back. It's partly torn on the bottom-edge, and lower portion of back. Supply-tag is attached to the top of back. It's slightly stained on the back, with writing of date on the "supply-tag".

BOOKLETS: VG/G+ each, being creased on its surface of each page lightly. Blue booklet is lightly stained inside pages.

INNER-BAGS: G each, being creased on its surface with ring-wear. Each is split in the middle of bottom-edge.

POSTER: Poster is still unused without pin-hole at corners. It's creased in places on its surface, with brown stains on its back.
