THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' CHRISTMAS RECORD'
UK 1963 UK FAN-CLUB FLEXI-DISC
Recorded on 17th October 1963, at Abbey Road just after the session for 'I Want To Hold Your Hand', this 1-sided 33 1/3rpm flexi disc was sent out to UK fan-club members only in December 1963 and contains humorous messages, songs & seasonal greetings from each member of the group.
The disc was pressed by Lyntone Records and bears a blue & white custom label: LYN 492
Matrix number: LYN 492-1U
The disc is housed within its original gatefold yellow card cover, incorporating 'National Newsletter No.2'.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean, white & blemish-free label with just a hint of wear to the centre hole but no marks, writing or missing paper.
Visual: EXCELLENT
The playing surface is perfectly clean and free from any scuffs, marks or scratches. It is lies perfectly flat whne playing and is without any creases, bends or other such damage. There are some harmless wispy hairlines visible only directly beneath halogen light but no significant or major visual wear.
Play: EXCELLENT
This disc has been extremely well looked after and received just a few careful plays. The sound is throughout is very listenable and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality overall. There is some inevitable light background consistent with this type of media but no heavy clicks, pops, jumps or any other such distraction.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A vibrant and fully intact example which is clean & flat and without any significant wear or major blemishes. There is a touch of rust to the staples but more importantly, no writing, tears or missing paper anywhere.
