THE BEATLES - 1963 CHRISTMAS RECORD

1963 UK FAN CLUB FLEXI DISC

*RARE EXCELLENT COPY*

This 1-sided flexi disc was distributed in the UK to all Fan Club members in December 1963.
The original picture covers are especially rare as due to excessive demand they quickly ran out.
Many unlucky members recieved their discs minus the cover, albeit with a letter of apology.

Here is a complete copy of their 1963 Christmas message flexi-disc, printed & manufactured by Lyntone Records: LYN 492

The 1-sided, 33 1/3rpm flexi-disc is housed in its original gatefold picture cover which incorporates the 'National Newsletter No.2'.

CONDITION

Cover: EXCELLENT

A very respectable example of this fragile, easily damaged cover which displays just light handling & storage wear with no major faults.
Some minor discolouration is visible on the front panel but rear & inside is bright & clean with the two staples clean & unrusted.
There is some light creasing to the corners but no tears, stains or writing anywhere.

Visual: EXCELLENT

A clean, bright & undulled playing surface with no folds, creases or other damage to the playing surface.
There is just a tiny pinhead-sized blemish on the extreme edge which covers just the first run-in groove but does not affect sound or play.
(this is just visible on the picture of the full disc at the 11 o'clock position).
The disc lies 100% flat on the turntable when played.

Audio: EXCELLENT

Played just a few times, the sound throughout is clear & undistorted - even on the extreme loud peaks.
Some light background usually associated with these type of discs is present, but this is not obtrusive and does not spoil the listening.
There are no clicks, jumps or any other significant audible faults to the playing surface.
