Description
THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' CHRISTMAS RECORD'
This 1-sided 33 1/3rpm flexi was the 1st of their Christmas discs & was mailed out to UK Fan Club members in December 1963.
It was recorded in the No.2 studio at Abbey Road directly after the session which produced 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'.
Matrix numbers: LYN 492-1U
Housed within its original yellow card gatefold cover with 'National Newsletter No.2' printed inside.

Clean & undamaged with just slight adhesive bleed-through but no writing or missing paper.
Visual: EXCELLENT
The playing surfaces is extremely clean and undulled by overplay or poor storage conditions. There is a small cluster of light scratches in one area of the playing surfaces but these are not deep or 'feelable'. the disc sits 100% flat on the turntable and is free fro many kinks, folds or other such damage.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This copy has clearly been barely played and bears no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion. As you can hear on the sound-clip, the sounds is clean & unworn with just the occasional soft tick consistent with this delicate media and little to spoil the enjoyment of this spirited effort.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An exceptional example of this fragile and easily blemished cover which retains its vibrant yellow colour all over. The front panel is perfectly clean & unmarked ans free from any creasing or rubbing. All corners are square & unbumped and all edges sharp and undamaged. There are a few faint stains on the rear panel in the upper left corner of the lower picture but no other traces of wear.
The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and both staples are intact and unrusted.
