Beatles 1966 Yesterday And Today LP Mono Early Scranton Pressing
The vinyl is just Good + but plays through on both sides with no skips, loops, or jumps.
There is some surface noise throughout.
The jacket is VG+ with no writing, stickers, creases, split seams etc. and with light shelf wear ( some discoloration along the open edge on the back and a scuffed lower left corner.
The printing at the top of the spine is unscuffed and readable but the catalog number at the bottom of the spine is scuffed.
It’s in very nice condition for being 60 years old.
Here’s some info I gleaned from Discogs about this specific version of the album:
Labels have a black rainbow color-band without "subsidiary" rim text.
This version was pressed by Capitol's plant in Scranton, PA (identified by stamped letters I over AM inside a triangle in the runout.
Has "Trunk Cover" (not "Butcher Cover").
Labels have the title as "YESTERDAY" . . . AND TODAY
and (Recorded in England) appears below the band name on the labels.
Matrix variant in runout:
T 1 2553 F1 followed by the Scranton “IAM” triangle.
A small 3 on rear cover, left of RIAA logo in the lower right corner of the back of the jacket (see photos).
Lastly, the jacket has the catalog number as “T2553” on the front and the back while both labels have “T-2563”.
The Capitol rainbow labels are clean and sharp with no stickers or writing and very light shelf wear.
