Beatles 45 1967 Hello Goodbye SCARCE RCA/Rockaway MONO Pressing, NM!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Scarcely-seen and impossible to find in collector condition, this is the RCA pressing of the “Hello Goodbye/I Am the Walrus” 45 that uses the Rockaway labels.  As compared to the regular RCA pressing with Scranton labels (see compere photo), this label features taller, thinner print with muted colors on semi-gloss labels.

There were definitely not very many of these made, especially in the face of the millions of Scranton and RCA-Scranton copies that sold upon release.

Vinyl: NM/NM.  Both sides are so very close to unplayed-looking.  Very high gloss on the vinyl.  Side 2 has one very small, very light scuff that is certainly not feelable.  45 is just a tic under store stock condition.

Plates: G18, A2/ G18, A1.  RCA’s machine-stamped letter “R” is in the dead wax, both sides.

Definitely first-pressing 1967.

Labels: EX/EX.  Labels look nearly brand new, with the exception of some slight dirtwear, due to the semi-gloss.

Sleeve: EX.  Sleeve would have graded NM, except for a name in ballpoint on the reverse side.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!

Shipping is $5.38 for Media Mail for up to 3 single or double albums, excluding boxed sets within the U.S.  $5.38 covers shipping for up to 5 singles within the U.S., and within the same auction week.

Winners in all other countries will be charged actual shipping to their locations, so please wait to be invoiced.  You will be quoted for the cheapest shipping to your country that the US post office can afford me.  Please let me know if you would prefer to pay for a faster means of shipping, but do NOT ask me to declare packages as gifts, or any other means of defrauding the postal services.  Much appreciated.
