Beatles 45 1969 We Can Work It Out SCARCER “Subsidiary of…” Labels, NM!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

This very short-lived label variation was the one just prior to the Apple label taking over the Beatles catalogue.  Issued and in the shops for less than 6 months in 1969, these records are near-impossible to find without flaws in the vinyl.

It features the Capitol dome very small and almost fitting inside the orange portion of the swirl to the left of the playhole, as well as the additional bottom perimeter text, “A subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc.” which has pushed the tiny white Capitol logo from the 6 o’clock position on original labels to the 5 o’clock position on these limited labels.

This copy is heartbreaking gorgeous and dangerously close to store stock new.

Vinyl: NM/NM.  Seriously, the only flaws I can find are tiny light scratches in the dead wax on both sides only.  Otherwise, the vinyl shines 100% new to my eyes!

Plates: F1/F3.  Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside it makes this copy pressed by Scranton.

Labels: EX/EX.  Just some very light dirtwear on both labels.

Sleeve: EX.  Sleeve has NO yellowing, which is hard to find.  The only flaw is that both sides have a light record outdent, and that’s it.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

**If you need this title in your run of the “Subsidiary of…” labels, this one is your keeper guaranteed, as it has been mine for 40+ years. **

**Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
