Description

If you "BUY IT NOW"  under any circumstances,  along with FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING, we'll take $100.00 off!
Beatles 45 "FROM ME TO YOU / THANK YOU GIRL" - VJ 522 issued on the Vee Jay OVAL Label (FIRST PRESSING) released on May 6, 1963. Great condition! VERY RARE!
All VJ 522 records with OVAL labels (3 versions) are FIRST PRESSINGS from May 6, 1963. The [VJ] BRACKETS label was not introduced until January 1964. In addition, the "BLACK LABEL" version with "SILVER HORIZONTAL BARS" and [VJ] BRACKETS was also released in 1964 (not in 1963 as some had previously suggested). Thick printing.
(SEE PHOTOS) The Vinyl play surface has slight paper slide marks and like most vinyls, very minor marks. NOT perfect (as we would never claim)  but very clean surface, and better than many we have seen in a long time. The labels on both sides are very clean (OVAL Vee Jay variation). IN ANY CONDITION, this record should be a part of any serious BEATLE  fan's collection, since it is considered the SECOND rarest Vee Jay  BEATLE 45 produced (next to the VJ-498).
CAME WITH ORIGINAL VEE JAY SLEEVE:  VJ 522 was issued with the stock Vee Jay sleeve from 1963 (VJ RS.01 as shown in photos).
Now over 50 years old, these rare records are drying up rapidly from the collectors market rapidly. In NM condition, which would be almost flawless and extremely difficult to locate, this record has previously been known to sell for upwards of $2,800.00 to $3,500.00. Our pricing is based upon several factors such as scarcity, rarity, and condition and feel that it is certainly in line with THE  most current BEATLES PRICE GUIDES, in this case pricing by    STANLEY PANENKA considered a leading BEATLE record consultant! (Some other BEATLE PRICE GUIDES are now at least 7 to 8 years old and obviously do not reflect current market values or accurate evaluation regardless of publisher or what their claim to fame might be).
Guides such as GOLDMINE are OK for general music, however when it comes to something specific such as super groups like THE BEATLES, THE ROLLING STONES, and others, they are quite conservative and have a tendency to grossly under value most high end items. Based upon the opinions of most knowledgeable experts, their BEATLES pricing is usually not reflective of current market values.
IMPORTANT NOTE:  We recognize and acknowledge that no record, sleeve, or jacket is "100% PERFECT", and that realistically all have flaws of one type or another. As veterans of 50+ years in the business of selling and grading vinyl records, we do kindly ask that any prospective buyers please refrain from    "KNITPICKING". If you do have a question, please ask it before buying! Thanks for watching!

Please watch for SPECIAL SALES, or where it applies, please make your "BEST OFFER". Thanks for watching. INSURANCE:  We do not typically provide insurance to any item due to the fact that this can amount to significant  added cost. However, this added service is available to any buyer requesting it prior to invoicing. If items are not  insured and are received damaged, immediately make the shipper aware of the damage. Once the item is packaged,  inspected by, and leaves the seller, one can only hope that it is handled with care which is why insurance is always  a good idea (if affordable and available in your country). Grading "VINYL" records can at times be a bit difficult and is not an exact science since it is based upon someone's  opinion. Since opinions can differ, we want all buyers to know that whenever a purchase is made and the item is  received, if you feel that our listed grading (by seasoned professionals) differs from what you feel it should be,  ALWAYS contact us FIRST before filing a claim with Ebay. All items are inspected prior to packaging to insure that  our description is accurate. However, we're not perfect and once in a while, items with hard to detect defects, can slip  through the cracks, therefore friendly dialogue between buyer and seller is always the best remedy to seeking any  satisfactory solution. We will always make an attempt to achieve 100% customer satisfaction whenever possible.  Remember that if you are not happy, we have not done our job! Thank you for visiting our site!
All items are PROFESSIONALLY PACKAGED!
