READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Beatles ’65 LP Unconfirmed Apple Label with “Mfd. By Apple” on Side 2 label EXCELLENT Vinyl!

As discussed in previous auctions, the label variation with the “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” disclaimer found on the Side 2 labels of The Beatles’ catalogue titles prior to 1969 were long-thought not to exist.  I’ve still not verified copies of all the titles.

Vinyl--- Excellent/ Excellent.  Side 1 almost qualifies for NM, with the exception of some very scant light angel hairs. Side 2 has slightly more.  Mostly new shine!

Plates--- J15/ J15. Winchester copy has the hand-etched delta symbol in the dead wax on both sides.

Cover--- Excellent.  Very beautiful cover has muscular strong seams, NO SPLITS.  Not even almost.  Remarkably, there is NO shelfwear to any of the seams or spine.  Front cover looks as though the shrink has just been removed.  The only issue this cover has is the back cover, which shows very light foxing, very light yellowing.  Otherwise, this cover is stunning.

Labels--- NM/ NM.  They look 1970-brand new.

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

RIAA: 12

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
