Description
I am selling more BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED RECORDS from my own collection. Please check my other auctions, too.
In this auction:
· “A HARD DAYS NIGHT” by The Beatles
· This LP is United Artists UAL 3366.
· This is a MONO (monaural) PRESSING.
· It was most likely pressed by Columbia Records due to short squat lettering of the LP title and group’s name.
· This LP was originally issued June 26, 1964.
· The COVER and the LABELS have the error in the title “I’ll Cry Instead” which is printed as “I Cry Instead”.
· The COVER is graded VG to VG+ CONDITION. It is STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP with $1.57 price sticker on it. There is light to moderate wear on the corners at the opening. A name is written lightly in ballpoint beside John’s head on the front cover. I have included a lower grade of VG because of “foxing” (age spotting) on both the front and rear slicks but mostly on the rear.
· As you can see in the images, the cover is still very nice with very minimal wear. The front is still bright red.
· This is a later1964-issued cover, because later MONO rear covers credit “This Boy” and “I’ll Cry Instead” to Maclen. (Early covers credit only “This Boy” to Maclen.)
· The VINYL is also graded VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION with some very light surface hairlines/scuffs.
· This LP comes with its ORIGINAL UNITED ARTISTS PAPER INNER SLEEVE. This is the CORRECT UA SLEEVE for this 1964 pressing.
Overall, it’s a NICE COPY of this ORIGINAL 1964 MONO BEATLES LP STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP to add to your vinyl collection!
