THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'

This LP was among first batch of UK LPs officially exported by EMI to the U.S.A. in late 1968.

It was retailed by a store called 'Music Mart' in Indiana, but was never sold and has remained sealed for the past 50 years.


The Parlophone stereo LP (PCS 3058) will contain a MINT/UNPLAYED yellow & black labelled disc.

Both labels are expected to include the 'Sold in UK..' text.


The disc is housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a small stereo front indicator.

The LP is sealed inside a loose 'baggie' type polythene bag which has a heat sealed flap near the upper edge of the rear panel.

The front panel bears the original store price sticker $6.98 - extremely expensive when 'regular' LPs at that time retailed for $3.98.

The rear of the cover also has the original metallic gold retailer's sticker bearing the text:

"For gift giving this record may be exchanged provided the seal is not broken - "Music Mart 722 Vine"


CONDITION

The LP was sealed by the store on receipt from the UK and has never been out of its cover. Therefore the disc is presumed MINT/UNPLAYED.

The cover shows very little storagewear and the bag is still fully intact all round with no scrapes, breaks or tears to the polythene.

Both seams and the spine are unstressed and unsplit and there is no mold or any other age-related blemishes anywhere.

This cover is as clean and fresh inside the bag as it was the day it was made.


 You will not find it easy to located another sealed copy from this vintage, so don't miss out on this one.
