Extremely Rare Australian issue of Beatles "Hey Jude" b/w "Revolution" - an "A" label promo issued by EMI for the band in 1968. Issued for radio station use only in extremely limited quantities, highly prized collectors items for any fan of the band.
Parlophone 1968 A8493 Condition Both Sides a Strong VG+ In best condition of all of my Beatles promos.
Has had very few some plays - considering how much this classic was played on the radio over the summer of 1968-69 in Australia, very few copies are as clean as this one and very few survive!! Both sides very neat and clean - just some very light marks both sides but plays loud and clear and great!! Comes in original paper Parlophone sleeve for the period. Hard to find these in any sort of condition and this one is highly acceptable!! There is writing along the blue "A" on Hey Jude side of the label and a small scrape mark - see scans.
