Description

The Beatles – Abbey Road – Apple PCS 7088 – Stereo – First UK pressing, 1969, with misaligned Apple Records logo on rear cover!

 

Cover: VG+. Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse International Ltd. Laminated cover with slight ring-wear.  No writing, no stains, no seam splits or tears. Each corner is bumped a little, and small creases throughout. The lamination shows evidence of scratches in places and is beginning to lift at some creases. Opening shows evidence of handling (to be expected). Narrow spine is perfectly legible.  Misaligned Apple Records logo below Side One track listing.

 

Inner sleeve: VG+.  Original plain white inner with “PATENT NO….” on bottom-left and “Made in Great Britain.” on bottom-right.  Small split on bottom and slightly larger split on right.  A few creases on bottom-left corner (nothing major).  Evidence of handling wear at opening.

 

Record: VG+. Small, insignificant scuffs and a couple of light scratches on each side.  Matrices: side 1: YEX 749-2, side 2: YEX 750-1.

 

Labels: Evidence of spindle wear on each side. No writing  “Her Majesty” is NOT listed on side two.
