THE BEATLES: 'ABBEY ROAD' - ORIGINAL UK **1ST ISSUE** STEREO LP - PCS 7088 (WITHOUT THE CREDIT TO 'HER MAJESTY' TO THE SIDE 2 RECORD LABEL) THIS IS THE RARER VARIANT WITH THE **MISALIGNED APPLE LOGO ON THE REVERSE OF THE SLEEVE**
In *GORGEOUS* condition, this Original UK **1st Issue** of The Beatles 'Abbey Road' LP was issued in 1969 and is on the Dark Green Apple Label. This Variant omits the Side 2 label track listing omits the credit to 'Her Majesty'. The side 1 matrix is YEX 749-2, and the side 2 Matrix is YEX 750-1. The stampers side 1: 'HD', '3', side 2: 'RG', '3'.
The Vinyl LP comes in a Plain White Inner bag and is housed in a BEAUTIFUL full laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated sleeve, which features the Mis-aligned Apple Logo to the reverse of the sleeve. Collectors will be aware that the Apple logo on this variant is much closer to the gate opening than all other issues.
Both sides of the Record Labels and both sides of the Vinyl disc are in CRISP mint minus condition – the record labels are BRIGHT and UNFADED showing only the faintest of spider marks. The Vinyl disc is BRIGHT and GLEAMING – A lovely example. The Mis-aligned Apple Laminated sleeve, has a really beautiful DEEP SHINE and is in Respectable excellent condition, showing only some light laminate creasing and minor corner bruising to the bottom right hand corner.
