CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT MINUS

A clean & vibrant set with numerous spindle trails to the side 2 label only and some evidence of ink around each centre hole, but no further wear or damage.

Visual: VERY GOOD

Overall, both sides are clean & bright and careful inspection in strong daylight shows up just an occasional light stylus hairline scratch together with two light, non-feelable scuffs on side 2.
Close examination beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals a sparkling rainbow gloss shine and a few more insignificant wispy paper hairlines but no other major blemishes.
On the turntable, this rare pressing lies 100% flat with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: 1. VERY GOOD  2. EXCELLENT

This copy has clearly been played many times but plays throughout is without any major audible faults.
My careful playcheck at volume revealed a touch of light background during some of the quieter passages, but I did not find this intrusive.
I noted a single 'pop' on 'Come Together' and 7 or 8 clicks on 'I Want You..', but no other major distractions on side 1.
Side 2 sounded slightly better and contained no clicks, pops or any other such interference.
Overall, a very acceptable copy of this ulra-rare pressing.

Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS

A clean & strong example which retains a bright, unscratched high-gloss front panel with just 3 small 'thumbnail' creases towards the opening edge and a 6cm of laminate lift to the spine.
All corners are free from any major bumps and both opening edges have minimal wear but no clumsy 'pushes' or any tears to either side.
The rear panel is a clean as the front and again bears just three 'thumbnails' but no other significant signs of wear.
The 'gold sticker' is clean & complete and is situated below the side 1 tracklisting.
Both seams & the spine are smooth, unstressed & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD

Some general light storagwear and toning to the edges but no heavy creases, splits or tears anywhere.
