Beatles Abbey Road UK 1969 -2/-1 Press Apple LP NM-

1st pressing w/misaligned Apple on rear sleeve!

Original 1969 Beatles "Abbey Road" (Apple PCS 7088) 1st pressing UK pressing with dark green Apple A-Side label in fantastic condition with rare misaligned Apple on the rear of the outer jacket and original white inner sleeve.
When Abbey Road was first issued in England in September of 1969, it came with a jacket with a very subtle graphic design error. On the rear of the sleeve, the green Apple was not lined up correctly (justified) to the song titles. This design error was quickly corrected and the sleeve was subsequently issued with the Apple logo correctly justified with the song titles. These "misaligned" Apple sleeves are considered rare, being from the very first batch of sleeves printed. Furthermore, the first pressing UK discs (with -2/-1 matrix numbers in the dead wax) are considered by many to be the finest sounding of the vinyl pressings of Abbey Road. This very clean -2/-1 disc is in superb condition and sounds ultra clean and wonderful!

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype.  We will never explain the condition of an item by saying it "looks good for something this old" as we consider that patronizing and an insult to potential buyers. Please ask us questions about any details about the item before bidding.

Shipping:
Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.

Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
- STILL SEALED items cannot be returned unless they are STILL SEALED. No exceptions.
