THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
1969 UK 1st PRESSING LP
**MISALIGNED APPLE & NO 'HER MAJESTY' LABEL**
This superb 1969 first pressing is on the UK dark green Apple label: PCS 7088
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' title.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover with the MISALIGNED Apple logo on the rear panel.
Complete with its original white inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper numbers: 4/MOL & 5/RTR
Cover: EXCELLENT
A top quality example retaining its extremely high-gloss laminate which displays a single light crease to the upper edge and one tiny 'thumbnail'.
All four corners are sharp and 'unbumped' with no bruising or wear. The opening edges clean and sharp bearing extremely light wear only.
The rear panel is in perfect condition with just a few tiny spine wrinkles but no creases, indentations or marks.
The spine is clean, straight and readable and all seams are strong and undamaged with no missing laminate or paper.

Visual: EXCELLENT
Only on a turntable a few times during its life and although bearing some cloudy surface patches there are no scuff or scratches anywhere.
This minor fault does not affect play or sound in any way and the disc lies 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Hardly played, all tracks sound bright and clear without any hint of groovewear distortion in any channel.
There is no audible wear - i.e. no crackle, hiss, clicks, pops, jumps, repeats anywhere.
