This UK 1st pressing dates from initial release in July 1967 and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5620

Being a early copy, the 'A' side label OMITS the "Recorded during 'Live' World Television Transmission" text.

Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK.. text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.

Housed in its original green & white Parlophone company sleeve.

Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18425-2 & 7XCE 18426-2

Stamper codes: 1/GA & 2/GG

CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT

A clean & unblemished pair with some minor wear to the side 2 centre hole, but no major faults.

Visual: VERY GOOD

Both sides are clean with just a hint of groove-whitening but no significant surface marks or any scratches. Close inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just some wispy light paper-type hairlines but little else.

Play: VERY GOOD

This copy has been played many times and there is slight evidence of groovewear distortion, but certainly not enough to spoil the enjoyment of this powerful and exciting mono mix. The deep bass on 'Baby, You're A Rich A Man' is reason enough alone to own this disc.

Cover

VERY GOOD

Fully intact with some light storage wrinkling and a small water stain on the front and a small tear to the front upper edge.

**PLEASE NOTE: This item is located in and will be shipped from AUSTRIA. 1st class international postage to UK addresses will be 6.50 GBP**

Our grading is strict & conservative grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.

We carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 transcription turntable fitted with a 'TSD 15' cartridge at volume and list all visual and audible faults.

Every image in this listing has been taken by ourselves (with a Canon G3 camera) and are of the actual item for sale. We do not copy from other listings or use stock images.

Each record is professionally & securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
